This is the symbol that you will find on our weekly bulletin and on the sign in front of our building. It was designed with a purpose. We wanted to communicate something to those who see it.

In its center, you see a fish, the “ixthus.” It was based on a five Greek letter acrostic that stood for Jesus Christ – God’s Son – the Savior. Those five letters also spelled the word fish. So the fish became an ancient Christian symbol.

Inside the fish is Christ’s Church of Michiana. The members of CCM are part of the body of Christ and desire to do nothing outside of Him. We live in dependence on His Holy Spirit.

The fish is seen inside a brown square, this is our church building. It is our desire that Christ be the center of our worship. We seek to point one another to Christ whenever we meet. The brown square is on a green background. The green represents the world around us. Our heart’s desire is to be a light on a hill and represent the Lord Jesus Christ as His ambassadors in Michiana.

Christ’s Church in Michiana is a group of God’s people who have covenanted together to live their Christian lives together for the glory of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
